Du Bist Gut Genug

A German falsetto line meaning 'you are good enough,' now doing the rounds on TikTok paired with a cartoon teenager from a show that ended in 2013.

"Du bist gut genug" — you are good enough — is a line from "Gut Genug", a track released on 22 May 2026 by German artists Blumengarten, KITSCHKRIEG, and Shirin David. The hook is sung in falsetto by a vocalist named Rayan Djima. The sentiment is earnest. That is, apparently, the point.

On 2 June 2026, KITSCHKRIEG posted a clip isolating Rayan's section; it collected over 5.5 million views. The dominant format that followed pairs the audio with Cleveland Jr. from The Cleveland Show — a gentle, sincere animated character from a Fox sitcom that ran from 2009 to 2013 and was cancelled before most of its current audience started secondary school. Know Your Meme confirmed an entry on 9 June 2026. Trend trackers were calling it a breakout by 12 June. The phrase "song of the summer" has been used in certain corners of the internet, though it is worth noting this is a prediction, not a category anyone administers.

It is still mostly a TikTok and Instagram Reels phenomenon. Normies — the platform's word, not ours — are only now beginning to ask what it is, which is usually the moment we hear about it.
